USB 3.0 RAIDDrive Breezes Through Benchmarks at TechReport.com
Is there any one PC component more overdue for an upgrade than the lowly USB port? Super Talent's drivers give the RAIDDrive a healthy boost in HD Tach's burst speed test. However, they don't influence the results of the sustained transfer rate tests. Not that the RAIDDrive needs much help on that front. With sustained reads, it's nearly five times faster when plugged into a SuperSpeed port. The RAIDDrive may not reach SuperSpeed USB 3.0's theoretical peak transfer rates, but it's substantially faster than anything limited to USB 2.0 speeds. This also happens to be one of the very first USB 3.0 flash drives on the market... You're also getting more than double the transfer rates of USB 2.0 at its best, which goes a long way towards justifying the additional cost.

SuperCrypt USB 3.0 Drive Captures PC Perspective Gold Award
Think about it, we are seeing a 32GB USB thumb drive nearly reach the speeds of some of our best solid state drives and we are still in the very first generation. It took just about a minute and a half to copy 14GB of data from the SuperCrypt to the secondary machine's desktop.  Nice. For our first USB 3.0 drive, the Super Talent SuperCrypt was a dream to work with and because you don't have to install any extra drivers (other than having USB 3.0 in your system to begin with) it remains as simple to use as any other USB thumb drive.  The performance was great for a first generation with read results up to as much as 220 MB/s that clearly show you why USB 2.0 needs to leave

USB 3.0 RAIDDrive Reaches 239MB/sec at Benchmark Reviews

The Super Talent USB-3.0 RAIDDrive performed at up to 239 MB/s read and 106 MB/s write speeds in our RAID-0 benchmark tests, which is far beyond the sub-30 MB/s speeds offered by the fastest USB-2.0 flash drives. In terms of appearance the RAIDDrive is elegant, but still big and elegant. The Super Talent RAIDDrive is well constructed, and is still a SSD at its core.

Pros:

+ Industry's First SuperSpeed USB-3.0 Flash Drive
+ Produced 239/106 MB/s Speeds with ST Optimized Drivers
+ Up to 128GB of Portable Flash Storage Capacity
+ Fully Backwards Compatible with USB-2.0
+ Hot Plug-n-Play Functionality
